The Blossom Hotel & Suites receives generally positive feedback, particularly highlighting its cleanliness, friendly staff, and convenient location. Guests appreciate the included breakfast and amenities like the pool and laundry facilities. However, recurring concerns involve issues with staff professionalism, humidity in the rooms, and a subpar pool experience due to ventilation and chemical levels.
I choose this hotel because my husband and I were traveling with our daughter, her husband and our six year old grandaughter, who needed a suite with a door so the child could go to bed early while the adults stayed up. My husband and I had a regular room. The rooms were clean and comfortable, very quiet. we enjoyed the indoor pool which had towels and showers. The free breakfast was good with plenty of choices. The tv had numerous channels, HBO, and Cinemax. The staff knew all the guests and were extremely helpful with maps and recommendations. We used the laundry on site and got quarters at the desk. Very good motel at a reasonable price.
Great place to stay! Good breakfast, although could be better with hot items like scrambled eggs, sausage, etc. We loved the cherry coffee! Val was so knowledgeable and friendly and we loved her input our itinerary. We left our car keys in the room after we checked out, and they called to let us know as soon as they found them, which we really appreciated!
Our overall stay at the Blossom Hotel was good. The hotel appears to have been recently renovated, the rooms were nice, and the complimentary breakfast was decent. Unfortunately, our experience with one staff member, Abigail at the front desk, left a negative impression. From the moment we checked in, she came across as rude, and her sarcastic attitude made us feel unwelcome. On our last night, we were relaxing by the pool when another staff member, who was extremely kind and professional, approached us to let us know that drinks without lids were not permitted. She even brought us cups with lids so we could continue enjoying our evening. About 15 minutes later, Abigail came over, told us the other employee was wrong, and instructed us to leave the pool area with our drinks, insisting that we follow only her directions. It’s unfortunate because the hotel itself is very nice, and the rest of our experience was enjoyable. However, interactions like these can significantly impact a guest’s overall impression. Staff members like Abigail make us think twice about returning, despite everything else the hotel has to offer.
This is a nice, clean hotel. The room was large and plenty of toiletries and towels were provided. The room was comfortably cool, but seemed a bit humid even with the A/C unit running. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was not working, maybe that contributed to the humidity. Breakfast was good (waffles, pastries, eggs, oatmeal, juice, coffee, fruit). The indoor pool was large and offered long hours (adult swim was a nice touch). Margie was very informative and gave some good suggestions for wineries along the Old Mission peninsula. The location was great (next to miniature golf course), and close to everything we wanted to do on our trip.
Look, the rooms are fine for the price and location and it's quiet which is super nice. Housekeeping is by request only so the promise that you won't be disturbed is nice. The pool?! HAAAA! It smells horrible, like a dirty sauna because there's no way for it to vent and it's just moistening the wood so aggressively that it is clearly rotting and it gross. The pool also just felt slimy to the touch and we never got in. I put my feet into the hot tub for 5 minutes before it was just too gross and we ended up back at the room for the night. Super unfortunate cause that's the biggest reason why we booked was to swim. Oh well. ?????
We had a great experience. The hotel was very nice. Everyone was very helpful. I want to mention our wonderful lady Val at breakfast. She took care of keeping everything nice and clean and stocked. She also was very friendly and helped make our stay a lot better. We were new to the area and she helped us figure out a few places to see that we would have not known about. We were very thankful for Val. We will he back!!
Our stay was outstanding, especially because of Valda's warmth and hospitality at breakfast. We must've talked to her for a solid 15-20 minutes; she took the time to tell us about the Traverse City State Hospital, an old 19th-century asylum that has since been converted into shops. We spent a good portion of the day walking around & shopping and even booked a tour on Valda's recommendation. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough!
The staff was super friendly. Nice clean Jacuzzi room with comfortable bed. Pool and spa area were nice and clean. And the breakfast was decent. The price was fair also we will definitely come back again.
I stayed here with 3 of my grandkids. Our stay was amazing. The front desk staff was gracious, the lobby fireplace was very inviting. Pool and hot tub were relaxing. The best thing was the breakfast. My grandsons said, and I agree. This was by far the best hotel complimentary breakfast we’ve ever had and the breakfast attendant was warm and friendly. A ten out of ten experiences.
The Blossom Hotel is amazing tho king about coming to the Blossom Hotel is a YES For sure. There are romantic suites with fireplace and hot tub, or you could get a kid friendly suite with a hot tub to enjoy. 5 star review Will come back soon.
