We had an excellent stay at the Home2Suites! The woman working at the front desk when we checked in was very sweet and accommodating. Our room worked perfectly for our family of 5 with 2 large beds and the sleeper sofa. The room was large and spacious, and the large kitchenette was great - we really appreciated having a large fridge/freezer for groceries. My kids loved the indoor salt water pool. Location was great, near several restaurants and grocery stores (there’s a Meijer down the road). We took advantage of the laundry onsite to refresh our clothes as we were on a long trip, and the machines worked well and efficiently. We would 100% stay here againn

I would not recommend staying at this hotel due to poor management and several serious issues during my visit. ?Reservation Issues: Even though I booked well in advance, the front desk could not locate my reservation at check-in. They spoke to someone over the phone, and I was told that the two-queen-bed room I had reserved was no longer available and that I would be given a different room instead. The only room available was an accessible (ADA) room. I didn't knew that it is accessible room. The front desk assured me that all rooms were essentially the same and that this one was even larger. On the second day, I aksed why there is no bath tub, then they mentioned it is the accessible room. Since it was late at night on the check in day, I didn’t ask more details about the room. At that time, I had no option as I was with family and kids and had to accept what they gave. ? Billing problems: Despite having a reservation confirmation clearly showing the agreed room rate and total amount, I was charged more than expected. The front desk insisted that the higher amount was what their system showed. Only after I presented my Email confirmation, they did acknowledge the mistake and refunded the overcharged amount. ? Serious security concern: The most alarming incident occurred on the morning of checkout. Checkout time was 11:00 AM, and at around 9:00 AM, while we were still packing our bags, another group of guests unlocked and opened our room door using their key card. We later learned that the front desk had already assigned our occupied room to another party before we had checked out. This is a major security and privacy failure that should never happen at any hotel. Overall, it is very disappointing experience.

Booked a double queen for 2 nights. Room was big with a full kitchen including plates/glasses and cooking utensils. Location was good to get into town for the Cherry festival. The breakfast was a little lacking. They ran out of food before closing time. Overall it is a nice facility and staff was friendly and helpful.

We usually stay down the street and now we won’t stop coming here. This was such a pleasant experience. The services and ammentities are excellent and the Team is phenomenal!!!! There was always someone at the desk and they were always engaging and kind with us and everyone around. Helpful, accommodating before we even asked and friendly! Keep up the good work and retain your team because that is a big part of what will Make us return with the overall experience! Thank you. Sienna and the crew during the day and night from 7/3-7/6 afternoon were terrific! 2 men, Sienna and another female. Only two semi negatives and nothing that could have been done about it. It just was. I wish I’d been able to stay outside and enjoy the gorgeous patio and fireplaces more!

They advertise in room kitchens but there is no cooktop. You can sign out a portable burner, which can only be uses with special pans, and SMALL pan. The hotel looks pretty new. Room was clean and comfortable

The hotel was great. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful!! The rooms are clean and spacious. It's located to many conviences. Parking lot was convenient. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

It’s kind of a noisy location with the constant traffic from chick-flick-a. The dumpsters are on the north side of the hotel, so good luck sleeping through that when they empty them in the middle of the night. Breakfast at Home2 is very limited. If you do the Hilton reward points, they are only half points at the Home2 and Tru’s. This location has no map of the room numbers, so I attached a couple of photos to help you pick your room location from the app. I believe the elevators are between the x13 and x15 room numbers.

To be a brand new hotel the cleanliness was lacking a bit. The Hot plate they gave me did not work and replaced it with another one that did not work. The morning front desk guy was amazing. Some kids were arguing with mine in the pool and reported Them to the hotel and the evening hotel staff said that there had to be an investigation which seemed over the top for the situation. Other guests lied and complained about my kids being loud. They got stuck in the elevator and yelled for help which I understand is annoying but uncontrollable circumstance. The whole ordeal put a damper on my stay and I would have left even I wasn’t exhausted. Will never go back or recommend this hotel to anyone and my family goes to Traverse City all the time. There were kids running down the hallway on my floor and dogs barking but I never complained because it’s kind of expected. Night staff treated us like we were a huge problem and I hated my experience there overall even though the daytime guy was nice.

Very clean. Excellent workout room and pool. Ths staff was very accommodating and pleasant. The exit to the main road can be tough due to traffic tho.

Sienna at the front desk was fantastic. She was kind and approachable. She ensured the stay was enjoyable for my family and our team block of rooms. We WILL be booking here again. (Only downfall is turning left out of the parking lot.)
