Our recent stay at the Parkshore Resort was perfect. The room was spacious and clean with a full flow shower. A big plus. The staff was very prompt with requests and very accomodating. Housekeeping was outstanding. The private beach was wonderful. Cleaned and groomed each day with ample deck chairs and free towels. We only had one meal at the restaurant but it was very good and the service was excellent. One last thing: Ducks. We made acquaintance with many ducks while on the beach. True, they were begging to be fed (which we didn't do) but even then they would plop down next to us to relax and provided a great deal of entertainment. If ParkShore said it was an $100 upcharge for these duck interactions, we would have gladly handed over the money. All in all, a perfect long weekend. We will be returning next summer.

The hotel is extremely clean and comfortable. The cleaning staff and restaurant workers are friendly and helpful. I love this hotel! It has everything you need with affordable prices. Located by local attractions. Can’t wait to stay again!

Our room was right across from the ice machine which we heard, plus I woke up whenever the toilet flushed in a nearby room. Then the next morning our toilet backed up and I feared it overflowing. Also the WiFi at night was weak and neither my lap top or the tv had enough connection to stream adequately. I called a couple times but it didn’t help to reset the WiFi. The location is convenient, the staff was personable and the lounge chairs on the beach were lovely to relax in, but don’t know that I would return to this resort.

Everything was absolutely perfect! I enjoyed my stay immensely. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. The view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking. The staff were so friendly and kind. The restaurant on site had amazing food and was very reasonably priced. I can’t wait to stay again, the next visit for fun not because of a death in the family. I truly appreciate the hospitality and kindness is such a difficult time

Absolutely amazing resort. The lounge was great and food was more than we expected. They had a Dj. The pool and spa were great. Rooms were clean and nice. The view was phenomenal. Overall great place. Will be returning that’s for sure

A perfect stay for my first time in Traverse City. Our room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. We love the view of the inlet from our balcony. Breakfast was the normal continental type breakfast so it was okay. Was really nice having a lounge on site where we could eat rather than go out when the weather turned stormy. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was too cold to go out swimming, but it was wonderful that there was an enclosed pool and hot tub on site.

When we got there it was very clean, the front desk lady Star was amazing and was super friendly/helpful. We came to Traverse City to go to Great Wolfe lodge but unfortunately we were unable to go but the experience we had at the resort made up for that! Side note the view was amazing even with how cold it was

My wife and I have eaten at Parkshore's Lounge in the past. Great burgers, by the way. The Lounge is participating in the 2026 Traverse City Restaurant Week and they had a nice sounding prix fixe menu. We went there with neighbors and we were seriously blown away with the flavors, freshness and portions. The chef and kitchen staff and our server deserve kudos for a wonderful dinner. Seriously. Wow.

I love this simple hotel. The staff is always welcoming on arrival. We usually stay before an early flight so I've never done breakfast but theres always hot coffee leaving to catch a 7am flight! I love that theres a sink and mirror outside the bathroom. It's hardly seen anymore and helpful so multiple people can get ready. Parking is easy, location is easy and we will be back again and again.

First time here & it was even better than I anticipated. My wife thought she booked the King Suite, which we wanted the room with the large spa tub for our anniversary. Even though we had a regular room the manager said he would give us the room we wanted. That exceeded my expectations. Everything was clean. There were not many other people who had booked rooms this time of year as it's winter, which made getting up & down from the fourth floor easy. Thank you Parkshore for making our first stay an enjoyable one!
