Traveling throughout North Michigan with our dog, we were seeking a place to stay that is clean, quiet, on the water & pet friendly. These condos met those prerequisites. The bed was great, amenities were good & the back deck was quiet, relaxing. Great location.

The building, the rooms, price and the view are all fantastic!! So very surprised and happy! ? will definitely be back! Also love the fact you can have a pet stay there. That is very rare! You've thought of everything!! Andirondek chairs, etc etc etc. Thank you!!

A very beautiful hotel by the lakeside Hotel has been recently refurbished and looks very clean. Rooms are well maintained n very spacious n comfortable Ample parking on premises Complimentary coffee tea in lobby and wine and eats in the evening Balconies open to all guests Deck in the rear open to all guests Would love to recommend and come again

We had such a wonderful stay at Gold Coast Inn! The property felt incredibly cozy and inviting, with so many thoughtful touches that made it feel relaxing and comfortable from the moment we arrived. Everything was very clean and fresh. We also loved that there were games and books available for guests to enjoy — it gave the hotel such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. One of the best parts of our stay was sitting out on our balcony in the evening and enjoying the beautiful sunset view. It was such a great way to end the day and made our trip to Traverse City feel even more special. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming and comfortable place to stay!

Hotel was cute overall, but there are a few important things people should know before booking. There are no front desk employees on-site. Everything is handled through messaging or phone calls, and it seems like customer support is overseas. Pros: - The welcome/common areas are very cute and have a nice vibe. - Bed was comfortable. Cons: - I originally booked 1 night, then immediately went back and changed it to 2 nights after confirming availability. The change was never properly processed. On check-in night, while messaging them about a low battery warning on the keypad lock, I found out they still only had me booked for one night. I then had to scramble last minute trying to find another place to stay during a short trip. They claimed someone else booked the room before my change request went through, which honestly makes no sense considering how quickly I updated it. Even if that were true, they should have notified me immediately instead of leaving it unresolved until I brought it up myself. It felt more like the request was overlooked and only noticed after I questioned why my checkout was showing the next day. - The rooms are extremely thin-walled. The doors also have large gaps at the bottom, so light and noise come through very easily. They do provide ear plugs, which says a lot. - One of the bedrooms has a shared bathroom setup where guests from another room have to walk through your room at night to access it. That should be made much clearer before booking. Overall, the place has charm, but the communication, privacy, and noise issues made the stay far more stressful than it should have been.

Don’t bother. Zero customer service, you’ll be dealing with robots and computers if you have an issue. Not to mention they aren’t even actually on the beach. Stay up the coast, you’ll find much nicer rooms and friendlier service. They’ve made traveling for my dad’s funeral even worse than it already was.

I had a great experience with Kasa! The rooms were modern and nice with everything you would need. Plenty of outlets, towels, soap, etc. They also gave me a lakeside room when I didn’t pay for that upgrade, which was a really nice surprise! I had some car troubles the day I was supposed to check out, and they were very accommodating to me. If you’re looking for a solid, no frills getaway, this is a great choice.

Loved our room! Very cozy for our fur baby. The 24/7 text service was very helpful and convenient. They were extremely responsive and fixed any issues promptly. Would recommend and would stay there again!

We were happy with our room. It was clean and neat when we arrived. The host was very attenative. The codes were sent on time for the doors. Considering the location, which was very close to the main road it was a quite stay. The view was very nice overlooking the water. Was surprised by the toiletries, normal size and you had what you needed. Snacks were a nice touch. The only suggestion would be that there was more coffee makers ...either in the common area or one in each room.

I had my doubts about this type of lodging (no staff present, etc) but the price was unbeatable. I ended up being very pleased with this property in Traverse City…the rooms are a little on the small side but still adequate and the “communal”area was vey attractive. Communication was excellent as well.
