Overall a great modestly priced hotel. Front desk staff member who checked us in was very pleasant. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast (included) was very good and the staff member assigned to the area very pleasant and kept everything in nice order.

We had not previously stayed in a Sleep Inn & Suites before. My husband and I were both extremely impressed with everything we experienced at the Sleep Inn, Acme Michigan. We arrived late at night and Stacie at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. And there were freshly baked cookies on the front desk a lovely touch after driving 7 hours. These cookies are out daily and such a warm touch. The entire place felt extremely cozy, inviting, friendly...like truly a home away from home. We LOVED the outdoor fireplace and enjoyed using it at night. The entire hotel was always very clean but also had a cozy aesthetic. Having the pool and hot tub open 24 hrs to adults is an awesome policy! They had a great coffee, tea bar open all the time with amenities for all, including various flavored creamers. The best part for us that places them in Top Tier in my opinion is the consistent friendly staff! EVERY staff member we met was welcoming, helpful and warm. They always greeted you with a happy attitude and asked if you needed anything. Our most favorite staff member was Robin who took care of the breakfast M-W. She was super friendly and through our conversations she gave us a lot of terrific advice for places to visit in the area. Steven who did breakfast in Thurs was also very friendly and gave us more ideas for sightseeing. In addition, the breakfast that was included was phenomenal! Much better quality and variety than any other hotels we've stayed at previously. Great choices, a nice variety of fresh fruit and consistently good as we were there 4 days. I cannot say enough of how this hotel was welcoming and well run in ALL ways from beginning to end. It's location is also wonderful as it faces the bay and has comfy adorandak chairs to sit in and look at the water. We got the bay view room and it was worth it. It was close enough to Traverse City but also set apart so it was more quiet for nighttime relaxation and less crowds. If you're looking to stay in the area, I absolutely recommend staying here as you'll be welcomed by super friendly staff, enjoy nice amenities and everything will be consistently clean.

The place is cozy and nice … the rooms were pretty clean and decent overall. I didn’t care for the bathroom … it’s extremely small, almost claustrophobic, especially if you have young kids and need space to manage things. If you get a room with a lake view, that’s definitely the highlight … but keep in mind they charge a $10 dollars fee per night for that view. It really shouldn’t be the case, but that’s what they do. The location worked well for us … we wanted something a little outside the city, away from heavy traffic and crowds, and for the price this was a good choice. The biggest downside was that the pool and hot tub were under repair, so my kids couldn’t enjoy any swimming during our stay. Lesson learned … always call a day before arrival to confirm the pool is in service. Had we known it was out of commission, we would’ve chosen a different hotel. Breakfast was decent … pretty standard for most hotels. In the end, the location and the lake view were the main reasons we stayed here.

Great clean hotel! Staff is friendly the breakfast staff is on it making sure everyone has enough and everything is full. Would definitely stay here again. FYI: Booking direct is better

Good location and great service, especially Steve in the breakfast area. Only downside is they only have 17 channels on their TV, three of which are in Spanish (which we don't speak because this is the United States), one that's the hotel ad station, and one that's the TV guide. Also, the hot tub was out of service, which was not communicated to us before booking. For $250/night, we expected (and deserved) better. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it. Do better.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. They have a very friendly staff and the rooms were very clean as well. Steven, the breakfast guy, was extremely friendly and seemed like he really enjoyed his job. Breakfast was awesome too! I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!!

I am really impressed on the staff and hotel. It was very reasonably priced, the room was large, clean, everything you can think of they provided, checkin in was fast, check out just as quick. I am very impressed with how friendly the staff is here! I will be booking with them again.

Stayed here for work. Front desk was friendly. Bed was comfortable. I enjoyed the 24 hour hot tub and pool. Overall good stay.

I would like to say how awesome the whole staff is. Extremely nice and friendly staff. They take care of you with care and respect. I paid for over 74nights without any issues. If there was on they were ontop of it. Super clean rooms and facilities. Now Steven in the breakfast room is a godsend. This worker goes way above and beyond for the guests and the hotel. The food is always fresh, hot and full. Steven is what will brighten your day at its very start. Keep up the amazing work Steven. You sir are an asset to the company by far. 100% recommend this hotel. Thank me later

It’s not just to amenities, upgraded soaps, super soft towels, or the staff just being “friendly”. There’s pride at this property and they take care of you like a family member by anticipating needs.
